In the form of text and interactive images, the fragments of the chapter of this dream shattered jump are depicted. When the viewer enters the narrative space of the work, the image,the text and the audience's participation become an opposing but unified whole. Is digital meant to be virtual? Can the "fourth wall" be broken? Is the human brain's operation of transmitting electrical signals through the opening and closing of synapses essentially the same as the 1/0 of computer binary? Picnic&lt;meta&gt; takes the form of a Metagame, an attempt to break down the wall between the real and digital worlds in the process of exploring and building the Metaverse. It was my last hope. https://onlyiceland.art/The-Unspeakable-Story Wed, 25 Oct 2023 15:15:33 +0000 onlyiceland https://onlyiceland.art/The-Unspeakable-Story The Unspeakable Story 聋者无以与乎钟鼓之声 (Video, 2020)The Shadow 影 (Narrative, 2020) 我叫什么？我没有名字。我是个影子。 有人在下一盘名为天下的棋。我不可说他的名讳，只是将来，大明将重归于它本该属于的人。 我是藏匿于棋盘中的影子，是名为车的棋子，一车十子寒，我是无卒可挡的车，是刺向敌人咽喉的无形利刃。 至正二十七年，不可说名字的人获得了名字，我成为了他的影子，我失去了名字。 我命非我所有，我深谙此。自记事起，我便是没有父母的孩子——也许是一柄刀刃更为合适。那如今已逐渐模糊在记忆里的阴湿巢穴，黑暗的水潭中，尚且年幼的我颤抖着一次又一次向眼前的伙伴挥出虎口早已撕裂的稚嫩双手——滚烫鲜血赋我色境，忠诚训言成我耳识。如教条般的命令随着鞭笞扎入身体：我的命是为他而生的；有一天，也要为他而死。 我活了下来——我是唯一活下来的。 他自小习武，我被赋以贴身护卫、陪练以及玩伴的身份留在了他身边。那是补偿了我灰暗过去的美好九年。我至今仍然记得，竹林瑟瑟的后庭碧色下，我第一次见到他。他喊我过去，我迟疑了，却转而被他主动伸出的双臂环抱住拍了几下。奴仆紧张兮兮地想拉开我们，他不放手，嬉笑着拉我去爬一旁的樱桃树。 他唤我为影。 他清晨习武，我便从后院的竹影中走出做他的对手；晌午他在房内端坐就餐，我便躲在后厨的杂物间吃厨子为我留的饭菜；他读书，我便坐在庭院的阶梯上望着天发呆，回应他偶尔闲来无事的搭话；就寝时分，我重新走回竹影里，望着屋内昏黄的灯火和月色一同奄奄灭去。年复一年，墙后的樱桃树又结了果，他爬上去摘，我守在树下放风。 他长大，我便陪着他长大。 他开始征战，我便随他出征。他骑。马冲锋，我站在战场上方的悬崖口瞄准每一个靠近他后背的敌人。 那个如今不能踏足的宫阙内，从正殿落入天街的月色，一眼望不尽的游廊，横跨五座雕栏的白石桥。那时候我们讨论民间疾苦、天下诸事；他说，将降大任，非他莫属。只是，天不由人。 命不由己。 - 洪武十三年，他就藩北平，这一次，他没有再携着自己的影子。 我被留在了京城，从此住进了鼓楼的钟里。 鼓楼层高，近皇宫和重臣所居街巷。自楼顶可将京城的街道尽览一二，利于监视。隔街相望的教坊司，又乃京城第一鱼龙混杂之地。他说安排了与我接应的线人，负责将我收集来的情报传出京城，再由快马递往身处北平的他手里。 没有了依附的影子，躲进了这方喧闹市集的鼓楼内里，作为远在千里外的眼睛，俯瞰着偌大京城的风景。独自莫凭栏，于我而言无非是再次回归到黑暗的水潭旁。 这一次，我只能为他而死。 -烟花三月，我正与鼓楼檐下的雏鸟一同抵御着料峭春寒，京城里突然频繁地响起密密麻麻的鼓乐声，鼓楼下方铁匠铺老板的儿子开始频频向店外探头。 别人说她叫倾城。我后来知道她便是教坊司里与我接应的线人。 第一次见到这般胜景，那女子却与从前见过的不同。我向来是记不住常人样貌的，她是第二个。花团锦簇的马车上，那双透着盈盈笑意的双眼穿过厚厚的人群笔直扫向我。我不解，她也不多做解释。 躲藏在阴影里的我，在次日清晨差点踢翻她跨过街道为我端上鼓楼顶的白粥。 她奏得一手好琴，纤纤十指如玉琢。那些常年厮混教坊司，头戴官帽的老头们都说，腰缠万贯又如何，重金难买她一曲。红布垂帘环绕的厅堂中央，如珠玉般的乐曲从她指尖流泻，房内迷离的光线浮动，人们举杯交错，面色逐渐扭曲。她不语，低头默默地拨动琴弦。我环抱着手臂，坐在她身后绣着牡丹花屏投下的影子里。微微闭目，我第一次有些记不起黑色水潭的样子，只记得那乐曲萦绕中，透过眼皮进入视线的温柔波澜，是如何将我包裹，抚我麻木而无趣的内心。 为她击退恶徒的那日，我第一次见到她那般脆弱却坚强的模样。 和大多数艺妓一样，家母早逝，家父因赌博负债累累。她自幼便去一家小乐坊学琴，又因进步太快被请了出来，机缘巧合之下投奔了教坊司。我至今也未知她是如何成为内应的线人，又是如何一眼便能认出我的，只知在救下她的那一刻，弱不禁风的女子倚墙努力站立着，那尽管赤手空拳也丝毫不惧的瞳仁里——我看到了我活着的样子。 入夜的鼓楼顶上，明朗通透的月光映照四方。她卸下弹奏时的华服，和花朵拥簇而成的厚重头冠，素面着布衣的她，迎风抱琴，轻声而婉转地低唱着。我不再躲在她身后，我端着白粥坐在她身前。 她掩嘴轻笑，说自己像在喂养路边受惊的流浪猫，一边又故作声势地举起酒壶说要谢我救命之恩。 奈何酒不醉人，人自醉。我在熟睡的她身旁躺下，鼓楼的砖瓦冰凉，我看见了如她一般姽婳的星河，缓缓地，在沉静漆黑的夜空中旋转，然后清清楚楚地铭刻进我的脑海。 影为黑，她却唤我白。她说劫难之后我若有幸能继续活着，能不再躲在影子里，走到阳光下—— 奈何我二人都心知肚明，劫难之后，没有人会让我们继续活着。 -洪武三十二年，六月十三，那位我誓死以命侍奉的人回到了京城。这一次，他不再是出征而归，而是作为新的帝王，接受了整座京城的叩拜。文武百官伏在道旁，百姓高呼万岁声此起彼伏。烈日晴空，一切黑暗无处遁形。 这十年隐忍与大计，终究是在此翻向了新的篇章。我的使命也即将迎来尽头。 我终究是会为他而死的。 ——但她不可以。 我牵着她，用刀刃撕扯着昔日的同伴，血染红了她的裙摆。彼时那理想少年已黄袍加身；曾经无名的影子，反戈一击。踏过一道道尸体，我第一次走在如此刺眼的阳光下，向着旧时与那人共同生活成长的宫宇拾级而上。绕过尚在重建的大殿，我径直向着那片栽满竹林的庭院走去。我知道他会在那里等我。 暖风吹过，竹叶窸窸窣窣的低语刺激着耳膜。多年未见，他的眉间已染上了些许白色，双眼也愈发浑浊，不见当年的清澈。他有些落寞地望着我，扬了扬手中攥着的樱桃，迟疑了一会儿，终究是没有抛给我。 相视无言。良久。 -我这一生，无人知晓。好在作为影子，我曾短暂而隐秘地存在过一瞬。 大明最终还是回到了属于它的人手里。影子最终也消散了。 她被囚在宫中奏乐，也好，至少能活下来，专心弹奏，不再需要分心去计算耳际胡言乱语的价值。不知她会成为谁的妻妾，沦为谁的笼中鸟，我又有何德何能去拯救她呢？ -我是他的影子，我只能为他而死。 https://onlyiceland.art/Illusive-Lover Wed, 25 Oct 2023 15:05:38 +0000 onlyiceland https://onlyiceland.art/Illusive-Lover Illusive Lover Interactive Video Installation &amp; Photography 2023 As a digital native who grew up surrounded by different kinds of media and cyber world behind screens, I have always been interested in digital technology and media related topics, specializing on postmodern philosophy. During my study and research experience, I am pretty inspired by post-human theory. Addressed from Donna Haraway’s claim in A Cyborgs’ manifesto and N. Katherine Hayles’s discussion in How we became post human, digital media and technology are further intertwining with the human body, changing our perceptions of self-identity. This aligns with postmodern theory, as both challenge the stability and coherence of concepts like “self,” “reality,” and “knowledge.” Therefore, I explore digital media and technology mainly through computer art, such as computer-rendered images, programming, and artificial intelligence as primary mediums, with visual language serving as the primary narrative avenue in my creative endeavors. My dedication lies in synthesizing various mediums to craft immersive experiences for audiences, exemplified by the electronic illusions conjured through mixed reality. Illusive Lover, is a collection of mixed reality illusions that tell a surreal story through the fusion of real and digital imagery. The visual effect of this work creates the illusion of a three-dimensional digital space invading reality, blurring the boundaries between the virtual and the real, and demonstrating the ambiguous relationship of identity and self-recognition between me and my Illusory Lover - the digital version of me.
